Anchoring – one of the most important manoeuvres of all
Safe anchoring is one of the core skills of any responsible skipper. Because what good is a licence if all you can do is steer straight ahead?
You will learn:
- how to anchor correctly on different sea beds
- how to hold the boat safely
- how to avoid mistakes when dropping and weighing anchor
- anchoring in wind and swell
Docking under real conditions
A good skipper has to handle their boat safely under any conditions. That's why we train different docking manoeuvres in varying wind directions and harbour situations.
You will learn:
- reverse docking
- side-on docking
- harbour manoeuvres in wind
- stress-free boat handling in the marina
- safe manoeuvring in tight spaces
Emergencies on board – respond properly instead of panicking
What happens when something goes wrong out at sea? How do you react when someone falls overboard or you face a technical problem?
With us you will learn:
- how to behave in emergency situations
- man-overboard manoeuvres
- safety procedures on board
- clear communication with crew and family
- practical tips for real situations on the water
We deliberately involve family and passengers too — because safety concerns everyone on board.
Radio in an emergency – calling for help the right way
When it counts, every second matters. That's why we also cover the basics of marine radio.
You will learn:
- how to call for help correctly in an emergency
- what types of radio messages exist
- what is allowed and what is not
- how to communicate calmly and professionally
More than just a boating licence
Our goal is not just for you to pass the exam. We want you to handle your boat safely, confidently and responsibly — whether on Mallorca, in the Mediterranean or back home.
Because a real skipper is responsible for:
- family
- friends
- crew
- boat
- the safety of everyone on board and for the environment.
